Workplace Warehouse Pty Ltd (ACN: 660 664 031) (“Workplace Warehouse”) was established on 1 July 2022. The target customer base for Workplace Warehouse is local government, state government, schools and corporate offices.
Indigenous Procurement Specialists (“IPS”), a division of Workplace Warehouse, was established on 12 February 2024 and seeks to provide procurement solutions for the mining and resources sector.
The procurement solutions available through Workplace Warehouse and IPS are underpinned by our Vision. We have formed strategic partnerships with like-minded companies, so we can secure procurement opportunities with the view to creating future employment opportunities for Aboriginal people.
This means you fulfil Aboriginal procurement targets through your relationship with Workplace Warehouse or IPS and you can be assured that we can deliver through the capability of our partners. Over time, we will introduce an Aboriginal workforce into the equation to provide employment opportunities that do not exist today.
Whether it is Workplace Warehouse or IPS, we can assist you to demonstrate accountability and transparency in your Reconciliation Action Plan and Aboriginal Procurement Policy journeys.

Supplier to WA State Government Agencies and Schools
While WA State Government agencies and schools are bound to purchase from suppliers listed on a Common Use Arrangement, the Western Australian Procurement Rules allow State Government agencies to directly purchase from an Aboriginal business, such as Workplace Warehouse.
Supplier to WA Local Governments
Workplace Warehouse is a preferred supplier of the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA), meaning that we can supply to local governments in Western Australia.
Matthew Abrahamson, Founder
Matthew grew up in the south-eastern suburbs of Perth, attending Gosnells Senior High School, and is the eldest of five siblings.
In addition to holding senior positions in the Western Australian public sector, Matthew held the positions of Vice President, and then President, of the Community and Public Sector Union/Civil Service Association.
Matthew is also active as a member of the Yugunga-Nya people through his involvement as a member of the Trust Advisory Committee of the Yugunga-Nya People’s Trust and as a Director of the Yugunga-Nya Native Title Aboriginal Corporation.
On the sporting field, Matthew is a life member of the Coolbinia Amateur Football Club and he also played for Gosnells in the Western Australian Premier Cricket competition. Matthew also captained the Western Australian Aboriginal Men’s cricket team, winning the 2010 Imparja Cup before coaching the team to back-to-back Imparja Cups in 2014 and 2015. Off the field, Matthew held the position of Chair of the Western Australian Aboriginal Cricket Council (Inc).
